Last Night’s Best Dressed: Chanel’s Couture Circus

Of all the high-profile, high-fashion events, the Chanel Couture show surely tops them all - and judging from Karl's celeb-packed FROW in Paris yesterday, it was the hottest ticket in town. Naturellement. So let’s take a look at who got their mitts on the most prestigious of invites...

The A-list actress: Still the fairest flower of them all, Jessica Alba was as fresh as a daisy in her full-skirted angelic frock, sexed up by a flash of red around her waist and slicked across the lips, and what lovely Christian Louboutin 'Bridget' booties she has! After two cracking appearances in the last two days, could La Alba be the new darling of the FROW? Here’s hoping!

The Gossip Girls: Speaking of new FROW faces, here’s Leighton Meester and Blake Lively looking terribly alluring alongside the latest GG recruit, Clemence Poesy in classic Chanel tweed. While Leighton got tough in a leather Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 number, Blake opted for a more relaxed approach courtesy of this floaty floral frock from Chanel's Resort 2011 collection, teamed with beach babe waves and nude Louboutin sandals - how refreshing!
Looking at their excitable faces on the FROW above (we wonder how Leighton and Suzy Menkes' convo went...), we're very happy to see that after all their hard work gallivanting around the city for the new series (check out their fash-tastic wardrobe here), the trio took some time out to put their feet up and relish the sights of Paree - and we can’t imagine a more sumptous feast for the eyes than the Chanel Couture show viewed from their VIP spot. Jealous, us? Absolutely!
The Superdupers: On the other side of the catwalk, we have Milla Jovovich and Natalia Vodianova who are dab hands at this FROW-ing malarky and looked accordingly blasé about the whole affair. Their no fuss outfits perfectly reflected their fashwan nonchalance – Milla opted for a grey tweed shift accessorised with statement jewels while Natalia stuck to a simple silhouette with her black two-piece and ruffled waves. Oh, to be this cool...

The Modern Muses: The young and fashionable tastemaker Lou Doillon represented the spirit of the French fashion house with layers of tweed and Caroline Sieber, style setter and stylist du jour, brought an interesting touch with her brilliantly unique frock. What fabulous mascots they make!
